My Blanket!

When the temperature drops at night, the weather gets all chilly, there are 2 things that run in my head: Either get a cup of coffee/tea and warm up or hurry the pace of all the pending work and get under that warm blanket!

I always end up choosing the latter.

It’s amazing how secured you feel from the weather when you are cuddled into that blanket, It is a piece of cloth with cushion but it’s priority is another level!

Imagine… you need the remote control on the table, which of course requires you to get up and walk there to get it… that annoying feeling of leaving the blanket for a little while disrupts the rhythm of comfort!

If you ponder “A covering” or “A blanket” is everywhere, all around us! Even the screen you are reading on has a covering that helps protect it from many unwanted substances.

The Earth too, it’s blanket is “The Ozone Layer” which makes it possible for life to survive, visualize for just 2 minutes if the ozone layer vanished…… even the thought is scary!

Fruits and Vegetables have peels on them as well. Start peeling the fruit and leave it for some time, it discolors, the taste wears out. Remove the “blanket” of the onion; your eyes begin to react with the gases released by the onion, soon your eyes are burning.

The concept of a covering is a priority in the world; it keeps the object in it safe, secured, away from contamination.

Does the soul have a blanket?

Absolutely! The blanket is the best you could ask for, never expires, never wears out, never cracks (like a screen protector), never stops covering you even if you feel like the saddest or happiest person in the world, never gives up warming you, never abandons you till you return back to Him…. You got it? Who is it?

It is He who loves you and covers your faults, When you are contaminated He helps cleanse your soul by showing you love from every angle, by sending special people or situations to your life, He sometimes lets you learn the harder way but His Love is in abundance and it will never stop…..
